penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

Antartica doesn't have water falls that I know of. We have water that we fall INTO, but that's about it.

See you later!

Akaka Falls is a water fall that tourists can visit one of two ways.
You can take the short route which is about 60 steps downhill, or you can take the long route, which is uphill about 200 steps. Different views of the same waterfall.
Angie opted for the shorter tour.

Native foilage on the way.
Approaching the entrance to the Falls
Nothing is free. Even in paradise.
A pretty deep view into the valley.
The Pacific Ocean is just beyond the trees.
A distant view of the Falls.
A closer view.
The mouth of the Falls from a distance.
Not sure what lurks inside.
These red blossoms are all over the island.
Scott from Volcano Van took this. Thanks for a great tour Scott!
