penguin chick pictureHI EVERYBODY!!

The vacation resort industry really hasn't explored the possibilities of coming to Antartica. Or maybe they have and got so cold they forgot about it. We may never know.

See you later!

The official name for where we stayed was the Marriott Waikoloa Ocean Club Resort.
It has ample things to do if you only want to hang by the pool.
Not to forget, the Pacific Ocean is a short walk away, should you choose to do so.

A quiet walk to the resort house.
It has an indoor/outdoor restaurant
Angie and Amy waiting for our first breakfast there.
I had Hawaiian bread french toast
Angie had the island delicacy moco loco
Amy had Eggs Benedict
Remember how I said it's an indoor/outdoor restaurant?
The birds eat here too.
The view of the pool area from the restaurant.
Something always happening at the pool.
Angie chillin' under a new thatchwork umbrella
Amy and I are lurking not far away.
Should you choose to explore
there are many options not far away
including a vast beach.
Take heed all those who pass
Amy meets the Pacific Ocean
See..it's right out there.
There are many kinds of fishes in the fresh water tide pools
Just doing their thing
Some look more inhospitable than others.
A short sunset to say good bye to Hawai'i Island.

See how thatchwork deck umbrellas are made
